‘Patang’, starring Pranav Kaushik, Preethi Pagadala and Vamsi Pujit in lead roles, is a rare sports comedy with kite-flying as its touchstone. Producers Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, and Suresh Kothinti are bankrolling it on Cinematic Elements and Rishan Cinemas banners. Director Praneeth Prattipati has handled the genre by thoroughly understanding its nuances.
The makers are glad to release a lovely song titled ‘Andala Tarakasi’, rendered by the super-talented Jassie Gift and MM Manasi. Jose Jimmy’s tune is enjoyable. Sreemani’s lyrics are peppered with creative language, a hybrid of Telugu and English. The choreography is natural, while the vibe of the song is cute.
Renowned singer and actor SP Charan also plays a pivotal part in this enjoyable entertainer. The recently wrapped-up film has already generated buzz with its ‘Hey Hello Namaste Hyderabad’ song and Teaser. The latest track, ‘Andala Tarakasi’, is tuneful and catchy.
Creative producer Naani Bandreddi described Patang as a “youth festival on screen”. He emphasized the film’s fresh cast, big-screen quality, and engaging story. Nani also praised Jose Jimmy’s music, stating that the songs have a positive impact on listeners. The team is confident that ‘Patang’ will entertain audiences of all ages.
