We get stressed out a lot in our daily lives. In such times, watching a good entertainer can be a great stress reliever. ‘Paagal vs Kadhal seems to be one such stress-free movie. Director Rajesh Mudunuri has crafted this film with Vijay Shankar as the lead, supported by Vishika, Brahmaji, Shakalaka Shankar, Prashanth Kuchibotla, and Anuhya Saripalli in other key roles. It is produced by young producer Paddana Manmatha Rao under the Sivatri Films banner.

Story:

Karthik (Vijay Shankar), a kind-hearted civil engineer, falls in love with Priya (Vishika), a quirky girl who enjoys teasing boys, albeit harmlessly. However, Priya’s psychological games put Karthik’s love to the test. Despite the challenges, Karthik’s unwavering affection for Priya shines through.

Karthik’s sister, Amrita, is deeply in love with Manoj, a psychiatrist with a narcissistic personality. Manoj, with his inflated ego, rejects Amrita’s love. The story unfolds as these four individuals navigate their complex relationships, ultimately finding love and unity.

The narrative is hilariously narrated by two police officers, played by Shakalaka Shankar and Brahmaji.

Actors Performances:

Vijay Shankar’s performance as Karthik is at peak level. He acted impressively as an innocent youth. The movie gives us confidence that he can do many more characters. And Vishika, seen in the role of Priya, showed her character’s eccentricity at the top level. Learning sorcery is the pinnacle of sadism in her character. Anuhya Saripalli is quite impressive as Amrita. Manoj’s performance is good.

Technical Departments:

Director Rajesh has skillfully crafted distinct personalities for the four main characters, Karthik, Priya, Amrita, and Manoj. Their unique traits make the film engaging for the audience. The characters of Karthik’s friend Prasad and comedian Sunil add to the entertainment quotient.

This film presents a fresh perspective on love stories, resonating with today’s generation. The portrayal of some girls who expect their partners to be overly attentive and possessive is depicted with nuance. The story highlights the importance of trust and faith in love, rather than doubt.

Praveen’s music complements the film beautifully, and producer Paddana Manmad Rao’s passion for the project is evident. Director Rajesh’s talent shines through in ‘Paagal vs Kadhal’.

Verdict:

If you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape, this movie is a perfect choice.
