As India celebrates its 75th Republic Day, the anticipation was heightened with the announcement of the prestigious Padma awards by Prime Minister Modi’s Union Government the day before. Mega fans, the Mega family, and the people of the two Telugu states were pleasantly surprised as Chiranjeevi was honored with the second-highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan, making him only the third Telugu personality to receive this esteemed recognition.
Known for celebrating Republic Day every year at his Blood Bank in Jubilee Hills, this occasion became even more significant with the conferment of the Padma Vibhushan award.
