Victory Venkatesh starrer Sankranti Ki Vastunam being directed by Anil Ravipudi is carrying good buzz among the family audience. Co-starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Choudhary as female leads, the film has hit the screens on January 14, 2025. Let’s see how it is.

Story:

The film starts with a kidnap drama of a Software company CEO. To rescue him, the police department brings ex-cop named YD Raju(Venkatesh). Who is YD Raju and what is his backstory? How YD Raju’s ex-girlfriend Meenakshi ( Meenakshi Choudhary) comes into the scene? What is the role of YD Raju’s wife (Aishwarya Rajesh)? Forms the rest of story.

Plus Points:

As usual, Venkatesh lived up to the expectations and excelled in the given role as a family man. His comedy timing and situational is daam good. He is perfect in his given role as a family man. Most of the film runs on a comedy track and Venky literally lived in his role.

Coming to the female leads, both Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Choudhary fitted perfectly in the roles as an innocent house wife and stylish cop role, respectively.

Other artists like Naresh, Sai Kumar, VK Ganesh and Upendra are perfect in their given roles. The kids did a good job. Especially, the male kid, who played Venky’s son role is hilarious in his role as a naughty kid.

Minus Points:

After entertaining first half, the proceedings in the second half takes a U turn which may not get unanimous applause.

The climax portions are wrapped up in a rushed up manner which would have been explained neatly.

Technical Aspects:

Music scored by Bheems Ceciroleo is amazing. Already the songs composed by the musician are Chartbusters. Adding to it, all the three songs came out well on the screen. Editing work has been done perfectly as there are any hardly unwanted scenes in the movie.

The cinematography by Sameer Reddy is superb as he made the entire film on a colorful note.

The artwork is done superbly. Lastly, the production values by Dil Raju’s banner are decent.

Verdict:

On an overview, Sankranti Ki Vastunam is a fun family entertainer. The main cast including Venky did cent percent to the movie and we strongly recommend the film during this festival season.
