Continuing the trend, yet another small film, titled, ‘Ra Raja’ has released today. Let’s see how it is.


Story:

A beautiful couple named Raja(Vijay) and Rain(Madhuri ) lead a happy life. When everything is going well in their life, all of sudden Raja decides to kill Rani for having an extra material affair. Did Raja kill Rani? To know about the entire story, you have to watch the film in the theater.


Plus points:

As most of the film runs on the lead pair, the film has no other actors except for a few police characters.

All the actors are newcomers and have did a nice job. The basic plotline of the film is interesting and raises curiosity among the audience.

Minus points:

Lack of noted faces in the movie comes as a minus point for the film.

Yet another daring act the makers have did for the film was they have hidden the lead actors faces in the film which can be termed as a drawback of the film.

Technical Aspects :

Director has come up with a unique idea and should be appreciated for it.

The drama is carry forwarded by mixing horror elements which is nice and gripping narrative as a major plus for the film.

The horror elements are being exposed with a striking proceedings by outstanding work from music director Shekar Chandra. The editing work is sharp and so as the case with the camera work. The production values for this tight budget movie are good.


Verdict:

In an overview, Ra Raja is horror drama which has an unique idea. The lead actors performance added with the background score makes this film a decent watch during this weekend.
