Siddhu Jonnalagadda is back again after the blockbuster success of Tillu Square with a film titled, Jack. Co-starring Vaishnav Chaitanya as the female lead, the movie has hit the screens today. Let’s check it.

Story:
Pablo Neruda aka Jack ( Siddhu Jonnalagadda) a highly ambitious guy decides to join RAW as his priority is protecting country first. In the process, he gives an interview to the selection panel and assumes that he will get the job and gets on field to work on an operation along with a CI( character portrayed by Subbaraju). On the other hand, his father ( Prasad) hires a private detective agency named Khaja Mia( Brahmaji) to find out Jack’s intentions. This leads to an interaction with Afshan ( Vaishnavi Chaitanya) and RAW chief Manoj ( Prakash Raj). What is the operation is the RAW team in after? How will the things turns out to be crucial for Jack? Forms the rest of the story.

Plus points:
As usual, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is superb in his role as a youngster, who loves to have some fun in life. His mannerisms are same as it in Tillu only thing changed in Jack was his slang. His dialogue delivery in neutral Telugu decation is good. Performance-wise, Siddhu Jonnalagadda did a better job.
Coming heroine Vaishav Chaitanya, she is glamorous in the movie. Acting- wise, she is decent in her role.
The first half of the film has a few funny moments which engages the audience and evokes decent laughs.

Minus points:
Director Bhaskar is the main culprit as his story lacks a proper depth in it. The screenplay lacks an engaging narrative. Especially, after the decent first half, things go out of the hands in the crucial second half.
The treatment itself is boring during the course of time. The second half needs a serious editing as it has many unwanted scenes.

Technical Aspects:
Coming to music, the songs composed by Achu and Suresh Bobbile are decent but the background music by Sam CS is disappointing. It is too laud at times.
The cinematography work is good as the film has, some visuals throughout. The editing is not upto the mark.
The production values for this limited budget movie are grand and lavish. As above said, the direction work is a big minus for the project.

Verdict:
In an overview, Jack has a passable first half and boring second half. If you like Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s, acting and his typical style of mannerisms, can give the film a try and for others can skip it.
