Young hero Santosh Sabhan is waiting for a proper hit since long time. Not disappointed with his films performance at the box office, Santosh Sabhan came up with a love story titled, Couple Friendly. Co-starring Manasa Varanasi as the female lead, the movie is scheduled for a February 14,2026 with the night premiers on February 13th itself. Let’s see how it goes.
Story:
Mithra(Manasa Varanasi) who’s Native from Chittor in Andhra Pradesh goes to Chennai in search of a job. On the other hand, Shiva( Santosh Sobhan) being an interior designer by profession comes to Chennai in search of business opportunities from Nellore. How the young couple crosses the paths? Due to circumstances they both decide to live-in relationship? What are the circumstances?What happened when their parents get to know about their love story, forms the crucial crux.
Plus points:
Firstly, the film has no built-up shots on the hero. He is presented in a natural manner just like boy-next-door kinda of character which can be considered as a biggest plus points of the movie.
On the other hand, the romantic chemistry between the lead pair is so good in such a way that one will start loving the characters within no time after starting the movie.
There is nothing much to say about Santosh Sabhan ‘s performance because he is already proven actor but the girl Manasa Varanasi is outstanding in her role and did cent percent justice in her multi-layered character.
Other supporting artists such as Rajeevi Kanakala and who acted as the both family members are superb in their given roles.
Minus points:
There are no specific minus points for the film but to mention about the minus points lack of entertainment in the key second especially during the last half an hour comes a minus points for the film.
The movie runs on a serious note during the last 20 minutes which is unexpected from the film which is usually considered as a simple rom-com entertainer.
Technical Aspects:
The Cinematography work is beautiful as the locations in and around Chennai City area captured in an authentic manner. The editing work is sharp.
Music is outstanding as it hooks the audience to the narrative instantly. The production values for this tight budget movie are nice.
Verdict:
In an overview, Couple Friendly is an emotional feel good love drama that attracts the targetted youth audience to the core. Adding to fantastic work by the director, the movie has a strong performances from lead pair. Plus the padding artists such as Rajeevi Kanakala got an impactful role, makes Couple Friendly a must watch during this Valentine’s Day weekend.
