It is an honor for me to say that I am filing my nomination for the post of MAA President.
I was born into the film industry. I grew up in the Telugu Film industry. Nobody can feel and empathize with the Telugu film fraternity like the true son of the soil. Growing up in a household that was always buzzing with the notes of Telugu cinema, I have the firsthand insiders feel and knowledge of our industry. My family and I are indebted to the film industry, and I feel that I should do my bit of service to my fraternity. During my stint as the Executive vice president of MAA a couple of terms ago, I had pledged 25% of the MAA building fund, from my earnings. I was able to suggest a couple reforms then and they were successful implemented. I keenly observed the functions of MAA and learnt what to do and what not to do.
My father was the President of MAA, under whose leadership, a huge change was brought in, and until recently my sister was the Vice President of MAA. With the guidance of my seniors, and energy & passion of youth, I am sure we can bring some fresh thinking and ideas to the industry. It will be an honor to serve the my film family through MAA.

‘మా’ అధ్యక్ష పదవికి నేను నామినేషన్ వేస్తున్నానని ‘మా’ కుటుంబ సభ్యులైన మీ అందరికీ తెలియచేయడం గౌరవప్రదంగా భావిస్తున్నాను. సినిమా పరిశ్రమని నమ్మిన కుటుంబంలో పుట్టిన నేను తెలుగు సినిమాతోనే పెరిగాను. మన పరిశ్రమ ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలు, కష్టనష్టాలు.. ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూస్తూ పెరిగిన నాకు ‘మా’ కుటుంబ సభ్యుల భావాలు, బాధలూ బాగా తెలుసు.. నాకు, నా కుటుంబానికి ఎంతో పేరు ప్రతిష్ఠలు అందించిన తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమకు మేమెంతో ఋణపడి ఉన్నాము. ఆ ఋణం తీర్చుకోవడానికి ఈ పరిశ్రమకు సేవ చేయడం నా కర్తవ్యంగా భావిస్తున్నాను.
మా నాన్నగారు ‘మా’ అసోసియేషన్ కు అధ్యక్షుడిగా చేసిన సేవలు, వారి అనుభవాలు, వారి నాయకత్వ లక్షణాలు నాకు మార్గదర్శకాలు అయ్యాయి. గతంలో ‘మా’ అసోసియేషన్ కు ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా నేను పనిచేసినప్పుడు ‘మా’ బిల్డింగ్ ఫండ్ కి నా కుటుంబం తరుపున ఆ భవన నిర్మాణానికి అయ్యే ఖర్చులో 25% అందిస్తానని మాట ఇచ్చాను. బిల్డింగ్ నిర్మాణం ఇంకా ప్రారంభం కాలేదు. ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా నేను కొన్ని సలహాలు, సూచనలు చేసాను. అవి ‘మా’ కుటుంబ సభ్యుల సహకారంతో దిగ్విజయంగా అమలుచేశాను. ‘మా’ అసోసియేషన్ వ్యవహారలన్నిటినీ అతిదగ్గరగా జాగ్రత్తగా పరిశీలించిన నాకు ‘మా’ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు ఏది అవసరమో స్పష్టమైన అవగాహన, అనుభవం ఉంది. మన ఇంటిని మనమే చక్కదిద్దుకుందాం. ‘మా’ సభ్యులలో కష్టాల్లో ఉన్న కళాకారులకు ఎప్పుడూ అండగా వుంటాము, అందుబాటులో ఉంటాము. ‘మా’ అసోసియేషన్ కి అధ్యక్షుడిగా నా సేవలను సంపూర్ణంగా అందించాలనుకుంటున్నాను.
పెద్దల అనుభవాలు, యువరక్తంతో నిండిన కొత్త ఆలోచనలు కలగలిపి నడవాలనే నా ప్రయత్నం, మీ అందరి సహకారంతో విజయవంతం కావాలని ఆశిస్తూ… మీ ఆశీస్సులు కోరే..
