The teaser of the new Tamil film “Jockey”, produced by PK7 Studios, has been released. The film is set in a rural backdrop of Madurai. The teaser was unveiled at the 13th edition of Veedhi Thiruvizha event held in Chennai.
After the 2021 film “Muddy”, PK7 Studios once again joins hands with director Dr. Praghbal for this project. The film is produced by Prema Krishnadas, C. Devadas, and Jaya Devadas.
The movie features Yuvan Krishna, Ridan Krishnas, and Ammu Abhirami in lead roles. Shakthi Balaji has composed the music for the film.
Set against the Madurai rural landscape, “Jockey” revolves around the traditional goat-fighting sport practiced in villages. To portray these sequences authentically, the film crew spent nearly three years in the region, taking great care to ensure the native culture and realism were not lost during filming.
The actors underwent training with real goats to perform their roles naturally.
Through “Jockey,” the makers aim to present rural life, the emotions of the people, and a traditional sport in a realistic and heartfelt manner. With the teaser launch, the journey of the film has officially begun. The film unit has announced that more details will be revealed soon.
