Sampoornesh Babu and Sanjosh are playing the lead roles in the film Sodara. Based on the bond between brothers, Sodara is directed by Man Mohan Menam Palli. The film is produced by Chandra Chaganla under the banner of Can Entertainments. Arati Gupta plays the female lead. The film is set to release on April 25,2025. Let’s see how it is.

Story:
The film starts with an emotional bonding between two brothers, who loves each other to the core. While elder brother Chiru( Sampoornesh Babu), who takes up his family Soda business, the younger brother Pawan(Sanjosh) leads a easy life. Chiru being a hardworking man loves his neighborhood girl named Divya. With a distrubance created by Chiru, Divya’s family is forced to vacate their house and moves away from Chiru and his neighborhood. As a sub plot, Pawan meets a girl in his college during his studying days. A twist in the tale comes when Chiru’s marriage alliance is fixed with Bhuvana ( Prachi Bansal). How will Pawan react to it? Will he makes the marriage of his elder brother? What happens towards the climax? To know that you have to watch the film on the silver screens.

Plus points:
As usual, Sampoornesh Babu is good in his role as s responsible elder brother. His acting during emotional scenes with Sanjosh is good and brings the depth to the proceedings to an extend.
The close bonding between the brothers has been projected in an emotional yet adorable manner.
Sanjosh is a surprise package for the movie. Be it his confidence in facing camera or his dialogue delivery in typically Telangana slang, the young actor is impressive.
Prachi did her performance oriented role in an impressive manner. The on screen chemistry between Sanjosh and Prachi Bansal is good and elevate the proceedings nicely.

Minus points:
There are few loopholes in the narrative which would have been rectified during the script stage itself.
Lack of proper publicity and promotions turns out as a major deficit to the film.

Technical Aspects:
Director Manmohan Menampalley did a good job by picking up a lovely concept and executing it an enjoyable manner.
Music by Sunil Kashyap is major advantage for this rural drama. His did a great job when it comes to songs.
Cinematography work by Jaan is captivating. Editing work by Shiva Sarvani is sharp.
The production values for this tight budget movie are okay.

Verdict:
In an overview, Sodaraa is an enjoyable drama that has brotherhood bondage as the main USP. Those who likes family dramas can give it a try.
