Aditya Om whom we basically know as an actor has been getting great acclaim as a director too in various national and international film festivals.Now he is experimenting in the short film genre with telugu short film ‘ Pavithra’ . Billed to be a thriller, Pavithra is the first short film attempt from the actor turned filmmaker in Telugu who is also doing one of the lead roles.
Pavithra is the story of a blind doctor’s search for his missing wife. Jyothi, Gayathri Gupta and Aishwarya can be seen in pivotal roles in the short film that will release first on YouTube then on other OTT platforms. Veeral and Lavan provided music, while Madhusudan Kota cranks the camera. Prakash Jha is the editor of the short film made under the banner of Modern Cinema.
The first look of Pavithra looks quite intriguing. Sporting shades, Om Aditya is seen holding phones in his hands, while we can also see two women in his life- Jyothi Labala and Gayatri Gupta.
Jyothi plays the title role of ‘Pavithra’, wherein Gayatri Gupta will be seen in a special dark character. Zakir Hussain, Aishwarya and Venkat are the other prominent cast.
Actor Aditya Om says that digital is the present and future and short films are a great platform to showcase one’s talent and reach maximum audience. According to him not every subject can be made into a full-length feature film and the short film format gives great scope for experimentation.

యాక్టర్గా వెండితెరపై తన టాలెంట్ చూపించి ప్రేక్షకుల మెప్పుపొందిన యువ హీరో ఆదిత్య ఓం డైరెక్టర్ గా కూడా సత్తా చాటారు. సూపర్ సక్సెస్ సినిమాల్లో భగమయ్యారు కెరీర్ పరంగా పూల బాటలు వేసుకున్నారు. ‘లాహిరి లాహిరి లాహిరిలో’ సినిమాతో సినీ రంగ ప్రవేశం చేసిన ఆదిత్య ఓం.. ఆ తర్వాత పలు తెలుగు, తమిళ, హిందీ సినిమాల్లో నటించి సిల్వర్ స్క్రీన్పై హీరోగా, విలన్గా తన మార్క్ చూపించారు. 2018లో మాసాబ్ అనే హిందీ చిత్రానికి దర్శకత్వం వహించి మరో టాలెంట్ బయటపెట్టారు. ఇలా బ్యాక్ టు బ్యాక్ సినిమాలు చేస్తున్న ఆయన ఇప్పుడు పవిత్ర అనే ఓ ప్రయోగాత్మక షార్ట్ ఫిలింతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతున్నారు.

తాజాగా ఈ సినిమా ఫస్ట్ లుక్ రిలీజ్ చేసి మూవీపై ఆసక్తి పెంచేశారు. ఆదిత్య ఓం చేతిలో మొబైల్ ఫోన్స్, ఆ వెనకాల జ్యోతి, గాయత్రీ గుప్త లుక్స్ సినిమాపై ఇంట్రెస్ట్ పెంచేలా ఉన్నాయి.తన భార్య మిస్ కావడంతో ఓ బ్లైండ్ డాక్టర్ వెతకడం అనే పాయింట్ తీసుకొని ప్రేక్షకులకు కనెక్ట్ అయ్యేలా ఈ సినిమా రూపొందిస్తున్నారట. టైటిల్ రోల్ జ్యోతి పోషిస్తుండగా.. గాయత్రి గుప్త మరో స్పెషల్ క్యారెక్టర్ చేస్తోంది. గాయత్రీ రోల్ సినిమాలో కీలకం కానుందట. జాకిర్ హుస్సేన్, ఐశ్వర్య, వెంకట్ ఇతర ప్రధాన పాత్రల్లో కనిపించనున్నారు.
