The first-look poster of Sarkar Bai, a socially relevant film set against the backdrop of Telangana’s socio-political realities, was grandly unveiled at the Film Chamber in Hyderabad. The film highlights critical issues such as water scarcity, caste discrimination, and the struggles of marginalized communities. Renowned filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja and Telugu Directors’ Association President V.N. Aditya attended the event as chief guests and officially launched the poster, extending their best wishes to the film’s team.
The film stars Sriram Nimmala and Varshika in the lead roles and is directed by Lara, while Tummala Praful Ram Reddy is producing the project. The story is inspired by real-life incidents that took place in Telangana during the 1980s and aims to bring a forgotten chapter of social history to the silver screen.
