Dhruva Vaayu, who earned acclaim with Kerosene, is directing the upcoming film Kalinga, besides acting as hero in it. Produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthvi Yadav under the Big Hit Productions banner, the movie has already generated significant buzz with the teaser, posters, glimpses, and songs that captivated audiences. The pre-release event for the film, scheduled to hit theaters on September 13, was held on Tuesday and it was graced by BJP leader and MP Raghunandan Rao as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, BJP MP Raghunandan Rao remarked, “Regardless of how busy one might be, watching movies is a part of our culture that helps relieve the fatigue of daily life. After the pandemic, everyone got accustomed to OTT platforms. The Telugu film industry is now witnessing a surge in experimental films, with smaller movies achieving great success.
