The upcoming film Beauty, starring Ankith Koyya and Nilakhi Patra in the lead roles, is produced jointly by Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala and Umesh Kumar Bhansal under Zee Studios, Maruthi Team Product, and Vanara Celluloid. Directed by JSS Vardhan of Geetha Subramanyam, Hello World, and Bhale Unnade fame, the film has its story and screenplay written by RV Subrahmanyam. Beauty is set for release on September 19.
The teaser, trailer, and songs released so far have impressed audiences. Ahead of its release, a grand pre-release event was held on Sunday with star director Maruthi and producer SKN as chief guests.
Maruthi said: “Every film of mine worked because of SKN. Without him and Shreyas Srinivas supporting Ee Rojullo, I wouldn’t be standing here today. Subbu always used to narrate crime stories, but one day he shared an idea that caught my interest. It reflected a father’s emotions on paper. Nimmakayala Prasad garu too was excited about it, and with necessary changes, Subbu shaped the story for us.
Sai Kumar has given terrific visuals and Vijay Bulganin added soulful music. Vasuki garu lived her role as a mother, while Vasuki and Naresh’s performances moved even distributors to tears. Nilakhi, all the way from Odisha, has acted brilliantly, and Ankith proves yet again what a fine actor he is. This film has strength in it – that’s why we’re speaking so passionately today. Beauty is a beautiful and powerful cinema. It is a film every parent must watch. September has been a great month – Little Hearts is doing well, Mirai is a hit, and now Beauty is arriving before OG.
